SYNOPSIS: 

At 3:00 AM today, a Low Pressure Area (LPA) was estimated based on all available data at 210 km South Southwest of Puerto Princessa City, Palawan (8.0°N, 118.0°E) embedded along the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) affecting Palawan and Mindanao. Tail-end of Frontal System (Shear line) affecting the eastern sections of Northern and Central Luzon. Northeast Monsoon affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

Forecast Weather Conditions:


Weather Condition: Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms


Area: Metro Manila, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region, Central Luzon, Quezon, and Rizal
Caused By: Tail-end of Frontal System
Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains





Weather Condition: Cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms


Area: Rest of CALABARZON, MIMAROPA, Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and Mindanao
Caused By: LPA/ITCZ
Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains




Weather Condition: Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers

Caused By: Localized Thunderstorms
Impacts: Possible flash floods or landslides due to severe thunderstorms
